Protein Feed on Wheats
Application Table
• HGCA recommendation* average trial results suggest a 0.9% increase in protein with a 40 kg/ha was more effective than the same rate of extra N applied in solid form at second node stage.
• Apply at GS 70 – 79 ( during milky ripe stage )
• Product is heavier than water. When given a choice, the water should be added to the sprayer first.
• Spray with standard fan jets at pressures and speeds suitable for application rates used.
• Most modern sprayers are suitable. If in doubt contact your equipment supplier.
• It is advised that the product is applied diluted 50/50 with water to keep crop scorch to a minimum.
• Application during the warmer months of May to July should be during the early morning or late afternoon, also to keep scorch to a minimum.
• Please note that this product should be used in conjunction with a whole season Nitrogen system and its application does not guarantee protein levels being achieved.
