Protein Feed on Wheats

Application Table

HGCA recommendation* average trial results suggest a 0.9% increase in protein with a 40 kg/ha was more effective than the same rate of extra N applied in solid form at second node stage.
Apply at GS 70 – 79 ( during milky ripe stage )
Product is heavier than water. When given a choice, the water should be added to the sprayer first.
Spray with standard fan jets at pressures and speeds suitable for application rates used.
Most modern sprayers are suitable. If in doubt contact your equipment supplier.
It is advised that the product is applied diluted 50/50 with water to keep crop scorch to a minimum.
Application during the warmer months of May to July should be during the early morning or late afternoon, also to keep scorch to a minimum.
Please note that this product should be used in conjunction with a whole season Nitrogen system and its application does not guarantee protein levels being achieved.
